Anand and Karl Jagota

Hello,

I am very interested in your Music Director – Consultation project.

I am a Germany-trained music educator and musicologist with more than two decades of professional experience in music education, repertoire interpretation, and performance-related teaching. My academic background includes Systematic Musicology and Educational Science, and I have extensive experience discussing the emotional, structural, and narrative function of music with students and collaborators.

Although much of my professional work has been in education, I have a deep familiarity with classical repertoire, including orchestral works, operatic literature, and historically informed stylistic interpretation. I would be very comfortable reviewing scene concepts, advising on emotionally effective musical selections, and helping refine musical choices to support pacing, atmosphere, and dramatic clarity.

I am also experienced in score and sheet music preparation and can provide organized materials for finalized selections.

The short-term remote format suits me very well, and I would be happy to discuss the project further.

Best regards,
Anand Karl
