I am a 3rd year student of the Software Engineering major at the University of Hradec Králové with a broad professional background not only in Czech companies but also in international companies. Even in high school, I enjoyed solving mathematical puzzles and thinking about a problem for a long time until I found a solution that could be useful to someone. It was thanks to this feeling of "victory" over a problem that I chose IT and programming as a field of study and as the beginning of my career path. During my three years at university, I deepened my knowledge of Java OOP, databases, Internet networks and cybersecurity. At the same time, I taught myself web development and today I have solid knowledge of JavaScript, React, Vue.js as well as HTML and CSS. My career began as a Technical Project Manager at ŠKODA AUTO, where this experience gave me a strong foundation in project management, team organization and communication between different teams. Thanks to this practice, I also realized that I wanted to have a real impact on things and bring value to the people around me. That's why I joined CzechGroup company as a Frontend Developer. In this role, I worked on already running websites and e-shops in Vue.js, JavaScript and PHP, and I also led a complete migration of one project from Vue 1 to Vue 3. At the same time, I was given the opportunity to create new projects from scratch. Although as a developer I worked closely with clients, managers and other developers, I realized that communication was what I missed the most in my professional life — and that I needed it much more than purely technical work. This feeling was even more confirmed during my study stay in Amsterdam as part of the Erasmus program. I was interested in the Social Impact Apps specialization, which combined learning mobile application development (Flutter, Kotlin), deepening knowledge in UI/UX design and also included an internship in a Dutch company. I worked for six months on developing a mobile game for the Amsterdam medical research company VU-AMS, which gave me not only professional experience, but also a huge space to build relationships with people from all over the world — I learned from them and they from me. At the same time, I took the CliftonStrengths talent test, where empathy, communication, responsibility, sociability and the ability to develop people came out as my top 5 talents. All this led me to a clear realization: In my professional life, I want to communicate with people, have an impact on things, inspire, transfer knowledge and help others grow. Therefore, I believe that I can be a suitable reinforcement for positions as a team coordinator, project/product manager or brand representative — roles that combine communication, organization, responsibility and a real impact on people and projects.
