About

Hi, I’m Gyajen Sherpa, a director of photography, cinematographer and photographer based in Lisbon, Portugal. I have a strong passion for visual arts and have worked on documentaries for NGOs such as Teach For Nepal, UNHCR, and WHO, as well as short films and commercial ads. I love telling visual stories and capturing authentic moments that bring projects to life.

My journey began with sound engineering at Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory before pursuing a bachelor’s degree in film studies. I enjoy crafting compelling narratives through moving images and collaborating with teams to achieve the best possible look and feel for each project.
