I am Alejandro H. Espera, Jr., an innovative engineering educator, researcher, and mentor with international appointments in the U.S. and Philippines. I hold a Ph.D. in Engineering Education, an M.A. in Data Analytics/Applied Statistics, and MS/BS degrees in Electronics Engineering, and I have spent more than a decade teaching, developing, and assessing STEM curricula at undergraduate and graduate levels.
My research spans instructional design, advanced manufacturing, and scientific pedagogy, with a strong record of publications, grants, and outreach. I enjoy building collaborative programs that bring theory to practice and mentorship that helps students and colleagues grow across disciplines.
