Matt Dibble is an award-winning video journalist, cameraperson, and editor with a career spanning broadcast news, documentary filmmaking, and digital media for global audiences. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he brings deep experience in independent field production, fast-turn editorial storytelling, and long-form documentary work across platforms. From 2019 to 2025, Dibble served as a Video Journalist with the Voice of America’s Silicon Valley Bureau, where he was responsible for all aspects of production on more than 100 video news stories distributed worldwide to an audience exceeding 326 million people. Working autonomously in the field, he filmed, wrote, produced, and edited coverage on tight deadlines, often under challenging conditions. His reporting focused on technology, climate and environmental issues, diverse communities, and general news throughout the western United States, with work ranging from short-form digital segments to extended feature reports. Prior to VOA, Dibble built a long career as an independent videographer and editor, contributing to numerous PBS broadcast documentaries, museum installations, and educational projects. His credits include The Mystery of Chaco Canyon (PBS), Koryo Saram: The Unreliable People, Arab American Stories (PBS), Not In Our Town (PBS), and projects for institutions such as the Smithsonian, the National Symphony Orchestra, and the White House Historical Association. His work has aired on PBS stations nationwide and has been used in permanent museum and cultural installations. Dibble is experienced with a wide range of professional camera systems and post-production workflows.
