I'm Jeff Pegues, a three-time Emmy Award-winning journalist who spent over three decades in broadcast news, most recently as CBS News' Chief National Affairs and Justice Correspondent. After 11 incredible years at CBS covering some of the biggest stories in America, I took a leap in 2024 to start something I'd been dreaming about for years—my own independent media company, Jeff Pegues Media LLC. Now I'm connecting directly with audiences through my YouTube channel and multiple shows, including "Critical Dispatch" (which I co-produce with the International Association of Chiefs of Police), "Person of Interest," and "The Luxury List." It's been an amazing journey watching our community grow to over 75,000 subscribers and more than 1.2 million views. When I'm not chasing stories or interviewing newsmakers, you'll find me indulging my serious passion for cars. I'm also a proud Miami University of Ohio alum where I played Division I football back in the day, and I currently serve on their Board of Trustees. My international experience living in places like France, Nigeria, and the Philippines has given me a unique perspective on storytelling.
