I am Samy Thiébault, a Paris-based saxophonist, composer and music producer. I lead the jazz label Gaya Music Productions, have released ten albums under my name and produced more than fifty releases with the label. I perform at major venues and festivals around the world and teach at conservatories in France. I compose music for film and dance, have worked with Gregory Porter, Simon Goubert, Christian Escoudé, Eric Légnini, the Belmondo brothers, and Anusha Emrith, and I was awarded the Sacem/France Musique prize for Best Film Music in 2023 for my work on the feature film L’air de la mer rend libre.
