I am an oceanographer and climate researcher investigating the uncertainty of Sea Surface Temperature (SST) records and SST reconstructions from corals. My work is interdisciplinary, blending geochemistry, physical oceanography, and statistics — including sclerochronology, mass spectrometry, satellite data analysis, Bayesian methods, time-series analysis and climate field reconstructions. I am passionate about translating research into information that supports marine ecosystems, particularly coral reefs, and industries impacted by climate change.
