Available to hire
I’m David Lapham, a writer and illustrator with a 30-year career shaping comics, graphic novels, and visual storytelling. I’ve worn many hats as creator, artist, designer, and author—from co-creating Harbinger, Rai, and Shadowman at Valiant to launching Stray Bullets with El Capitán Books.
I’ve worked with Marvel, DC, Vertigo, Image, Dark Horse, IDW, Skybound, Lucasfilm, Guillermo del Toro, and the Wachowskis, and earned Eisner Awards for storytelling. Today I continue to write, draw, and help build immersive worlds in comics and beyond, including projects with Absurd Ventures in gaming and animation.
