Hi, I'm Daniel Frieg, a German automotive designer based in Gothenburg with a Master’s degree in Transportation Design from the Umeå Institute of Design (2011). Over the past decade, I have shaped exterior and lighting design for global brands, most recently leading head and rear lamp production design at ZEEKR and collaborating closely with engineering teams. My toolset spans CAD, 3D modeling, and digital sketching, including Autodesk Alias, Inventor, SolidWorks, Rhino 3D, Blender, and Adobe Creative Suite. I also work with AI-assisted design tools like Midjourney and Vizcom to accelerate and enhance ideation. I’m driven by sustainable materials and brand consistency, and I enjoy mentoring junior designers and working cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and management.
