Master Thesis – Automotive Systems (ADAS) at Texas Instruments
April 1, 2024 - October 1, 2025
Mapped and compared OEM-specific EMC requirements, consolidating them into a requirement matrix and aligning a test strategy with automotive references. Investigated EMC behavior of Power over Data Line (PoDL) in Automotive Applications (IEEE 802.3bu) as per CISPR 25 ISO 11452-x standards. Created complete schematics and PCB design with EMC-aware implementation principles. Analyzed the impact of PoDL designs on customer projects, translating findings into business-ready technical cases that supported successful project bids. Performed simulations for DC IR drop, loop inductance, and target impedance, enabling early detection and resolution of potential EMC failures.
Internship – Field Application Engineering at Texas Instruments
August 1, 2024 - February 1, 2025
Demonstrated the value of TI TPLD devices through practical STO applications; prepared portfolio presentations for ABB’s different divisions, enhancing the team’s understanding of their requirements and identifying additional business opportunities. Collaborated with ABB Robotics to support the integration of TI products in autonomous mobile robotics (AMR) systems, cobots, and industrial robots. Performed PCB tear-downs of devices to identify additional ICs for targeting, which helped uncover new socket opportunities and drive business growth. Conducted system-level evaluations of AMR, including Navigation, Communication, Connectivity, Charging system and Safety System.
Electrical Engineer at ENPRO KSA
November 1, 2018 - October 1, 2023
Designed Automation and control circuits for API 10F testing facility and simulated various use cases to validate system performance. Calibrated, repaired, programmed and troubleshooted control systems (Fanuc and OKUMA). Designed and implemented the Electrical and Machine layout of the new setup, installed and commissioned all the machines including CNC machines (Doosan, Okuma, and Mazak) and water jet. Proper mechanical and electrical maintenance of machines (including Siemens and PLCs and HMI), conveyors, furnaces and generators to ensure minimum downtime and uninterrupted power supply. Devised the product plan and advised the company on setting up manufacturing of PTFE Rings.
