Designed and operated enterprise Kafka platform(s) supporting high-volume, low-latency event streaming for DRER use cases. Provisioned and managed Confluent Cloud and self-hosted Kafka clusters, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and production parity. Built and governed Kafka topics and Avro/JSON schemas, enforcing Schema Registry compatibility and data contracts. Managed Kafka Connect lifecycle, including configuration, upgrades, rollbacks, and production incident remediation. Designed and supported Flink SQL streaming pipelines running on Confluent compute pools for real-time transformation and aggregation. Implemented GitOps-based CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Terragrunt, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD to automate Kafka and Flink deployments. Implemented DLQ and error-handling strategies to improve platform resilience and operational stability. Managed Kafka security including service accounts, ACLs/RBAC, secrets, and private network connectivity.
