I'm Samie, a video editor based in NY. I currently work on a freelance basis with brands in the sports, fitness, health, and nonprofit spaces, editing brand videos, training videos, event highlight reels, customer testimonials, and social media content. Previously, I worked in house at the mental health nonprofit Vibrant Emotional Health, making videos that highlight their community programs and crisis support services. Before that, I produced and edited short form audio stories for clients from a range of industries with National Public Media, the sponsorship arm of NPR. I also have experience editing narrative short films and music videos. In my editing work, I always look to authentically reflect a client/brand's personality and create something unique that will connect with their specific audience. My experience editing both branded and narrative content gives me flexibility to work across various styles and my background as an audio producer helped me develop a particular care for sound design.
