Work Experience

Illustrator | Visual Learning Designer at Taleemabad
March 1, 2020 - March 1, 2021
Created animations for K-5 curricula. My role expanded to lead illustrator for Taleemabad's textbook division, where I designed cover art and internal assets for a nationally adopted series published by the National Book Foundation. These illustrated textbooks are now part of the official curriculum distributed to schools across Pakistan.

Began as a Shadow Artist, contributing to multiple award winning short films. Within my first year, I was promoted to Director for a short film, where I led a team and owned the entire pipeline from concept art and storyboarding through to final background art and animation. I also produced pioneering short form content for the studio's social impact brand, Shehri Pakistan, developing a new genre of humorous, accessible animations on complex topics relating to religion and civic literacy.
