Hi, I’m Paloma Marin, a multidisciplinary artist and art teacher based in Brussels, originally from Bogotá, Colombia. My practice moves across painting, digital art, jewelry, illustration, sound, and moving image. I work as a painter, jewelry maker, children’s book illustrator, and educator, and I compose music for films and visual narratives. I also develop soundscapes and sound and video installations, exploring how sound, image, and rhythm can function as experiential learning tools, fostering intellectual reflection, emotional response, and perceptual awareness. Across these forms, I am drawn to creating environments where different mediums interact. I design and facilitate creative experiences for children and communities, where art becomes a language for exploration, emotion, and connection.
