    paper Inter-House Broadcasting Competition 2025

I was part of the Organizing Committee for the Inter-House Broadcasting Competition, a large-scale competition designed to showcase broadcasting and media skills. Serving as Vice President of the club during the organizing year, I worked closely with the executive committee, emphasizing teamwork and overseeing logistical planning to ensure the smooth execution of the event.
The competition featured multiple rounds, including live reporting, news reading, storytelling, and duologue (radio presenting). A commercial round challenged participants to create, film, and edit an original advertisement based on a given brand name and tagline. As part of a social media challenge, these commercials were uploaded on Instagram @lyceumfm, with engagement metrics contributing to the overall evaluation.
The event was conducted across two age categories (Under 15 and Over 15), with each house fielding 20 participants. Outcomes were determined by a panel of judges, ensuring a fair assessment of performance, creativity, and audience engagement.

    paper Lyceum FM '24 & '25 — 3 Day Student-Run School Radio Show

Lyceum FM is a three-day, student-run school radio broadcast streamed exclusively on Mixcloud from 6am to 9pm each day. The broadcast features exclusive guest interviews, thematic segments, and curated playlists, continuing a long-standing tradition that connects students, alumni, teachers, and listeners worldwide.
I conducted both formal and informal exclusive interviews with school management and invited guests, supported by research-driven preparation for themed segments such as women’s empowerment, pop culture, anime, and mythology.
As a presenter, I worked closely with my co-hosts to build strong on-air chemistry, manage smooth transitions between content, endorsements, and live shoutouts. I also focused on refining my vocal delivery, tone variation, and pacing to maintain an engaging and charismatic show.
In Lyceum FM 2025, I additionally served as a Buffer, the Head of Logistics, and Head of Events, overseeing operational planning, studio setup, and décor, while coordinating across multiple teams to ensure all segments were prepared and delivered on time. Acting as a central point of coordination required managing multiple presenters and solving problems in a fast-paced live environment, strengthening my skills in leadership, collaboration, and adaptive problem-solving.
Last but not least, I gained experience in content creation and strategic marketing to boost engagement and increase the platform’s visibility.
