Hi, I’m Genevieve and I am a children’s storyteller and theatre practitioner with over a decade of experience sharing stories and working with children of all ages. In 2018 I was awarded the ‘Sally Goldsworthy Bursary’ from Discover Children’s Storytelling Centre to support my empowering and creative storytelling, which led to the creation of my own show called 'Stories of Inspirational Women and How They Changed the World’. A show that celebrates the incredible stories of female figures from the past and present day, to inspire the next generation. A show that is still going strong today and now touring new shows in Gloucestershire. I have a very enthusiastic and bubbly storytelling style that has been inspired and nurtured by working with some wonderful companies and participating in wonderful projects. I have been a Disney Theatrical Teaching Artist and led educational dance, music and acting workshops for The Lion King, Mary Poppins and Frozen West End Musicals and a presenter at the London Science Museum, performing interactive educational science shows for schools, families and SEN groups performing live STEM experiments and demonstrations. My passion has always been to tell stories and I’m often found telling tales in schools, at festivals and leading storytelling sessions for community groups. Over the years I’ve grown my practice to mentor young artists and support creative careers. I’m always excited to connect with new collaborators to bring stories to life in engaging, accessible ways.
