Hi, I’m Mark Keefner, the driving force behind Waymo Music & Sound Design, a platinum award–winning recording and production company. I’ve been active in the LA area since 1983, when my band had a song in the first Karate Kid movie! I landed my next song placement on Knott’s Landing. Over the years I’ve written and produced songs for various recording artists and built a track record of credits in feature films and television as a songwriter, music producer, multi-instrumentalist, engineer and sound designer. Today I lead Waymo Music in crafting music and sound for recording artists, film, TV, and immersive experiences. Current projects include Snow Bunnies (WIP) as producer/songwriter/audio engineer/sound designer, Dorrance Dome—the opening of the 3D immersive COSM planetarium at ASU Science Center in Phoenix (completed) as music mixer/audio engineer/immersive cosmic drum loops designer, and Laura Richter Project (album in progress) as producer/songwriter/arranger/audio engineer.
