Joined the Online Video Platform (OVP) team responsible for the persistence layer across multi-tenant propositions (Sky UK, SkyShowtime EU, Peacock US, Showmax). Built and managed large-scale Cassandra clusters, contributed to AWS, Terraform and Ansible-based infrastructure, and helped shape the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins. Developed a front-end dashboard in ReactJS to monitor infrastructure across accounts, and led ground-up infrastructure work for dev, staging, and production environments. Migrated on-premises systems to the cloud, implemented service health monitoring, supported high-profile events with millions of users, and led migration from traditional Cassandra hosts to AWS Keyspaces, achieving significant cost reductions. Implemented a backup/restoration procedure using AWS Glue.
