I’m Dr. Ireneusz Edward Thomas, a historian with a Doctor of Sciences in humanities background, focused on social and religious history, Polish–Ukrainian relations, and heritage at the regional and micro-historical level. My work is grounded in long-term academic training and field experience, including archaeological excavations and archival/library-based research.
In addition to research and publishing, I’ve coordinated international academic programs and projects, especially Erasmus+ (KA1 and KA2), and I’ve taught history to different learner groups, from high schools for adults to university-level courses and support programs. I enjoy translating complex historical topics into accessible formats through educational activities, editorial work, and institutional coordination that connects partners across countries and communities.
