Industry Experience

Media & Entertainment
The Ordinary - Video Director & Editor

In 2023, I directed and edited a spot for The Ordinary, aiming for a clean, minimal aesthetic inspired by the calm of a spa environment. The goal was to create a film that aligned with the brand’s understated elegance, using spa like music and a considered interplay of light, shadow, and timing to highlight both the products and the production design.

In the edit, I kept things deliberately simple, using long takes and allowing the sweeping motion of the music to guide the pacing, creating a calm, serene viewing experience.

CBC Sports 'Making Canada's Team' - Editor

From October 2025- January 2026, I had the privilege of editing the CBC docu-series Making Canada’s Team, which follows eight athletes as they work toward earning a spot on Team Canada for the 2026 Olympic Games. From the outset, we wanted the series to feel anything but standard. Some days were spent cutting montages that leaned closer to music videos than traditional television, using rhythm and pacing to reflect the athletes’ inner worlds as much as their physical preparation.

As an editor, I worked closely with the creative team to shape each athlete’s story. I also cut the series trailer and created additional social and broadcast spots for CBC’s Instagram and on-air promotion.
