A production triple threat, Jaunnie has carved out an exciting career in film and television, and creative arts entertainment.
As the Development & Production Investment Coordinator, Te Tumu Whakaata Taonga NZ Film Commission, Jaunnie managed funding programmes; Feature Film Production Investment, Boost, Seed, International Co-Development and Feature Film Finishing Grants, with an annual budget NZ$1.5m.
Jaunnie cut her teeth on Hollywood sets on location before joining administration at the Indigenous and Film Development units at Screen Australia. She spent 8 years growing story craft, managing hundreds of onscreen projects, and exercising her superpower to communicate and connect across all cultures and ages, ensuring diversity and inclusion at every level.
As the Sydney Events Manager for Slingshot Entertainment, and a founding pioneer of The Pacific Wave Festival, Sydney NSW, Jaunnie thrived on the exciting challenges of delivering events with the utmost cultural integrity. Mentored by the best in the international arena, she coordinated arts events festivals, developed Sponsorship, Marketing and Publicity strategies, tours for hip-hop artists throughout Australasia, and delivered a weekly hip hop show broadcaster on Koori Radio, Sydney’s First Nations radio station.
