Gilson Meireles

Hello! I’m Gilson Meireles, a Brazilian sound designer and composer with a passion for telling stories through sound. I hold a degree in Music from UFBA and a recognized certificate in Sound Design from EBAC, and I have spent over 20 years teaching music while actively building a career as an instrumentalist, composer and arranger for nearly three decades. I thrive on collaboration, listening carefully, and contributing to high-quality audiovisual productions.

I specialize in creating and editing sound effects, foley, ambience and soundtracks, as well as cleaning and editing dialogue for films, ads, animations and games. I’m proficient with Reaper, Studio One and Pro Tools, with some knowledge of Wwise and direct sound capture, plus 2D animation tools like Toon Boom and Blender. I’ve produced audio for animations broadcast worldwide by 555 Comic and collaborated with international teams.
