João Sousa

I’m a composer and music producer with a strong background in writing music for diverse ensembles and styles, ranging from cinematic and atmospheric pieces to groove-driven and character-based compositions.

I have extensive experience creating original music with clear emotional direction, adapting compositions to narrative needs, and refining material based on feedback. My work spans multiple genres and formats, including original compositions developed for personal and collaborative projects.

I’m comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with developers to shape a soundtrack that supports gameplay, mood, and storytelling. I value clear communication, flexibility, and delivering music that enhances the player’s experience rather than simply filling space.
