Hi, I’m Victoria Frances Dekoker. I’m currently pursuing a Juris Doctor at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (expected 2025), with a focus on policy, privacy, and litigation—both in theory and in practice. I’ve contributed to moot court competitions, led the Cannabis Law Society as VP, and published as a Contributing Writer for Decisive Utterance, while gaining hands-on experience in coverage analysis, multi-state claim handling, and good-faith litigation practices through clerking and internships. I’m passionate about turning complex legal concepts into accessible guidance and advocating for fair, thoughtful policy reform. Outside of the courtroom, I enjoy swimming, woodworking, baking, and documentary storytelling. I also relish long walks with my dog and the occasional spirited negotiation with my cat. These interests keep me creative, curious, and continuously learning—both personally and professionally.
