Collaborated with Professor Yang Zheng to program large- and small-scale simulations in Julia to experiment with different control strategies for connected autonomous vehicles in a traffic system including human drivers. Verified findings indicating that incorporating connected autonomous vehicles in traffic leads to steadier traffic flow and better control of perturbations.
