Greetings, I am interested in applying for the Book Illustrator position. I have over 35 years experience with visual storytelling and a passion for bringing narratives to life through captivating illustrations. In my previous roles, I started out as a food Illustrator for Golub Corporation in NY and illustrated of over 1000 images for their newspaper and ads. Later on, I spent the early part of my career as a patent illustrator in Arlington VA. I created patent illustrations for Nintendo of America, GE and Sharp corporation. While working there, I started my career as a freelance illustrator and worked for a number of publishers and advertising agencies. Eventually, I developed a multitude of contracts working in educational illustration. During this time I illustrated a number of manuscripts for k-12 educators and was often asked to work in various styles, watercolor, pen and ink, digital, and pencil.
