David Steinmetz

I’m David Steinmetz, a musical director, drummer, producer and songwriter based in Toronto. After graduating Humber College with a Bachelor of Music, I dove into the touring scene across Europe, Canada, and the United States with artists including Scott Helman, honing my craft on the live stage and in the studio.

I thrive on bringing an artist’s vision to life—shaping arrangements, building rigs, and leading production for headline tours and arena shows. I collaborate with Canada’s rising talent, produce records (like Cam Kahin’s CHUG), and contribute to a production duo, 88JETZ, crafting studio projects and writing sessions around the city.
