I'm an editor. But Im primarily a husband and a dad. I've been around a while (my first job was labelling VHS cassettes) and have cut a lot of the TV people used to watch when TV was a thing. I write, play music, almost became a chef but mostly - I'm an editor. It's an odd combination of left & right brain, creativity and organisation, disruption and restraint. A craft I've spent my adult life refining and one that's had me in every room with every personality type imaginable. I've developed some story principals and an edit heirarchy that have served me well (kind of a riff on Walter Murch - Im thinking about writing a book) and I never miss a reasonable deadline and I've been told I'm a great collaborator. If you're after a bombastic assault to the senses insta-tok style cut I'm probably not your guy (though Im sure I could recreate whatever's cool this week); I provide considered choices informed by my particular sensibilities that best tells your story. And then don't complain when we need to make a change. If you've read this far down we might be a fit and I'd love to know what you're working on and how I can contribute Cheers, Ange
