My main working background is in education, especially in languages and in primary schools. More recently, I have worked (in both paid and volunteer capacities) as: a radio presenter and recording audio material; voice over artist (short video, children's books, and so on); proofreader (for which I have professional qualifications); examiner for pre-tertiary examinations; recruiting, training and managing a group of people who were conducting online surveys (and transcribing comments). Voice work is my favourite of these, and I have often been complimented on my spoken and singing voice. Regarding singing, I have sung with choirs for quite a few years, and have singing lessons with a retired opera singer.
