Hannah McDonald

Hi, I’m Hannah McDonald, a showbusiness reporter based in Edinburgh with experience across print and online outlets, focusing on TV, film and celebrity news. I enjoy writing and illustrating articles, conducting interviews, pitching original ideas, and building networks at industry events. I’m passionate about storytelling that captures behind-the-scenes moments and the cultural impact of entertainment.

Previously I led an in-depth health and news investigation into the effects of disposable vapes that contributed to their removal from sale, and I’ve covered awards shows, red carpets, theatre and reality TV. My background also includes performing in professional theatre, which fuels my enthusiasm for storytelling across media and stages alike.
