Hello, I’m Sarah Bartosek, a Graphic Designer with extensive experience working with Indesign and creating visually appealing page layouts. I hold a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) from Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology and have delivered print and digital design projects for MoE, Core Education, and various publishers, as well as exhibition and event materials. One standout project for the Ministry of Education was creating the Sexual Health Guidelines which had interactive HTML pages and you could click on the different section on the title page and it would take you to that page. Currently I work at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre in the Event Setup Team which is a casual position. And I have been working on various freelance Graphic Design project alongside this role. Previously I worked as a full-time Graphic Designer for User Friendly Resources where I designed educational books and worked on a number of other Graphic Design briefs for educational organisations. Prior to this position I worked as a Graphic Designer for Printable Solutions where I worked on graphic design projects and marketing campaigns. Before my position at Printable Solutions I worked as a Graphic Designer for Multimedia Publishing where I worked on a range of design briefs across six publications. Previously I was in a front of office position at Stonehurst Accommodation, which involved reception duties; booking travel, accommodation & tour packages; meeting guests and general customer service functions. This was a part time position, which I held for four years. These positions have entailed a high degree of initiative, interpersonal skills, decision-making & the ability to work unsupervised under pressure to deadlines. With my 15 years Graphic Design experience I have acquired strong design, project/time management, computer and organisational skills which I believe would suitably fit your current Graphic Design journal project.
