Henry Boffin

I’m an award-winning screenwriter, director & author based between Australia and the UK with over 15 years of experience working across film, television and novels. I adore crafting rich story worlds across multiple genres, from comedy to drama with a keen interest in science fiction and how current trends will shape the future of humanity.

As creative director on SECRET CITY, an interactive games company launching this year, I’m experienced shaping immersive experiences and multi-platform storytelling that rely heavily on contextual storytelling and player-led experiences. My past works includes projects such as feature films BEFORE THE DYING LIGHT and STRANGE CREATURES (US theatrical release this year), TV comedy METRO SEXUAL (Seasons 1 & 2), and the novel SPECK OF THE STARS, published by Fords Street Publishing. My writing has seen nominations for the Australian Writer’s Guild Awards and the John Hinde Award for Excellence in Science Fiction Writing and I was one of only eleven writers in Australia selected for the inaugural Imagine Impact Screenwriting Accelerator program, spearheaded by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s Imagine Entertainment.
