About
I am David Pittaway, an Australian guitarist and composer recognized for my long-standing association with Robert Fripp and the Guitar Craft movement. As the founding guitarist of Kiss of Reality and a touring member of The League of Crafty Guitarists, I’ve performed across North America, Europe, and the UK, recording and featuring in broadcasts with BBC and MTV.
In recent years, I have continued to evolve the craft, performing as a solo artist in world fusion guitar projects and collaborating in ensembles like The Symphony of Crafty Guitarists in the Netherlands; my ongoing work includes international touring, contemporary classical structures, ambient looping and progressive improvisation.
