I am Regi Taylor, a public relations, marketing, media and branding professional, writer, artist, and author. Since 2007 I have founded GOFU, established the Green Apple Guide as Harlem’s official tourism journal, and led high-impact campaigns that connect communities with culture and information.
I thrive in cross-functional roles—editorial leadership, freelance journalism, and campaign management—delivering on-brand messaging, compelling storytelling, and community-focused outreach. I’m passionate about amplifying voices, shaping narratives, and driving results through strategic communications and creative production.

I designed a community-themed public sculpture as a tribute to hardworking, law-abiding, tax-paying Baltimore citizens who resist the hate of naysayers, remain resolute about the city’s promise and continue to BELIEVE.
I assembled a team including an architect, engineer, master builder and professional marketer. The video presentation was prepared for the Baltimore Public Art Commission bolstered by formal letters of support from my team members, but unfortunately was declined by BPAC.

This short video is a compendium of graphic political satire images gleaned from my DC C.R.A.P. Collection formerly published by Sacramento-based, Humor Times, a nearly 40-year-old internationally popular journal, https://www.humortimes.com/cartoons/dc-crap/ . The video is overlaid with voice tracks from a wide range of commentators including political rivals, activists, journalists. podcasters, academicians and pundits.

The Green Apple Guide follows the vision of Victor Hugo Green, a Harlemite who 90 years ago established The Green Book, a travel guide for African American motorists that identified accommodations, accoutrements and amenities available as safe havens as they traversed the highways as vulnerable motorists during the Jim Crow era.
I am building a publication which will not only identify essential room and board as Mr. Green did, but also the wide range of entertainment, arts & culture, and historic sights and venues that give Harlem its character. The guide also provides an array historical trivia that is not trivial.
