Hello and thank you for posting this lead. I've been writing screenplays for over 20 years now and have finished over twenty feature length scripts- mostly dramas. I've made it to the 2nd round of the Austin Screenplay Competition twice on 2 different scripts, and the top 15% of the Nicholl Fellowship once with a different script. I have been published many times as a freelance writer for small newspapers and a trade magazine. Last year, I self published my first nonfiction novel that I am now adapting into a "based on actual events " film series. I'm five episodes in. I have a BA in Communications -Print Journalism with a minor in Film studies from the University of Michigan, where I also did an independent study in screenwriting. I am the creator of the Detroit on Fire series (Youtube, Facebook) where I have documented the Detroit Fire Department for 20 years. I'm a mom of 2, grandma of 2 and I consider myself a well-rounded person creatively and can write dialog in several dialects.
