Diamond Platnumz was born Naseeb Abdul Juma on 2 October 1989 in Tandale, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He grew up in a humble family and faced many early life challenges. He was raised primarily by his mother, Sanura Kassim (also known as Sandra), after his parents separated. Childhood was tough, and at times Diamond stayed with his grandmother while his family struggled financially.
