I was the first public outreach person launching the Conservation At Home program adopted by Conserve Lake County. I visited properties across Lake County, Illinois to assist, identify, and educate homeowners about native plants; the benefits of attracting, providing safe havens, and appropriate food sources for plants, animals, birds, and pollinators to their backyard.

Worked with the EPA and local politicians to address groundwater contamination. We educated the community, authored a White Paper, and organized public workshops. Resulted in 410 homes receiving clean water and fire hydrants funded by polluters.
