I am an illustrator, designer, researcher, writer, maker, founder, and owner of Freelance Illustrations. I create high-quality, original, custom illustrations and graphics for a wide variety of clients and purposes, helping tell stories through images of objects, people, real places, and things that may no longer exist. I also produce illustrations that teach identification of the natural world—plants, animals, insects, fish, birds, and mammals across different ecosystems—often for educational, interpretive, and historical signs. A well-made illustration conveys complex concepts to a diverse audience, and I bring professionalism to each piece, starting on real paper with pencils and delivering production-ready digital files. I have been creating custom maps for over 30 years, producing maps that convey place and time beyond simple navigation.
