Hi, I’m Andrew Porterfield, a Purdue University student with a BA in Communications (Media & Mass Communication) and Film & Video Production (Screenwriting). I’m passionate about storytelling across media and bring hands-on experience in live events, audio production, cinematography, and video editing. I’ve worked on theater and music productions, student films, and social/content creation, and I enjoy collaborating to turn ideas into engaging experiences. I’m an Eagle Scout and a digital artist who loves learning new tools and techniques. My background includes technical staff roles at Purdue Hall of Music, production work for the National Museum of the Marine Corps, and projects ranging from a Mr. Beast challenge video to a short film shown to 100+ attendees. I’m comfortable with both the creative and technical sides of media production and enjoy bringing stories to life through animation, editing, and a touch comedic timing.
