Hi there! I'm Andrei Romanov, a 2D animator and lead animator with over a decade and a half of experience creating engaging animation and motion graphics for apps, games, and commercials. Born in 1984 in Omsk, I studied Information Technology and Measurement Engineering at OmSTU and have lived in the Moscow region since 2008. Over the years, I’ve worked with major studios and freelance teams, from Mail.ru Group to Rocket Jump and Ogilvy, delivering polished 2D animation, motion design, and character animation. Outside of animation, I’m a husband and father who loves cars, footbag, videography, and sculpture. I’ve won the 2008 Russian Footbag Freestyle Championship and organized Russian Footbag Championships from 2009–2012 and the 2013 European Championship. I also founded the Keepers light show and won the 2011 One-Minute Film Festival. I rely on a strong toolkit—Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, Photoshop, Spine, Toon Boom Harmony, and more—and I’m always eager to bring ideas to life with a collaborative team.…Hi there!
