Hi, I’m Alex Martello—a Melbourne-based Electric Bass/Double Bass/Synth Bass player, musical director, arranger and orchestrator. I’ve recently performed bass on the Australian national tours of Footloose and Hair, and my arranging and orchestrating work has been commissioned and performed internationally. I love collaborating across theatre, concert bands, and recording projects to bring vibrant musical ideas to life.\n\nWith a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary) from the Australian Institute of Music (Melbourne, 2023), I continue to work across professional theatre, big bands, and recording projects with leading Australian artists and companies.
