Hi, I’m Ashley. Lovely to meet you! I have been working in the packaging space for Luxury, gifting and FMCG skincare for the last seven years, I am looking for new and exciting opportunities as a Designer to fulfil my love of bringing beautiful products to market with creative branding. I have been creating product packaging artworks for Aesop for over five years in my role as Product Artwork Coordinator and honed a keen eye for typography and branding. I freelance as a Packaging Graphic Designer for the Mecca exclusive skincare brand Emma Lewisham and for smaller, one-off packaging projects. I completed my Diploma of Graphic and Digital Design in early 2024, finishing with a High Distinction average, and am looking to take the next step in my career. In my time at Aesop over the last 5 years, I have worked closely with the Product Development team to bring thousands of beautiful skincare and fragrance products to market all over the world. As an artwork coordinator I liaise crossfunctionally to ensure artwork briefs are correct, regulations are met and, as brand custodians, each item meets the strict aesthetic and typographic guidelines. I work directly with a range of global print suppliers to ensure each artwork meets specifications and colour standards. As part of my role, I create artworks for all on-shelf products in varying packaging sizes and types using InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Product types: Aluminium & plastic tubes, cartons, kits, sleeves, single, double labels & concertina labels, sample sachets, POS items, overlabels and warehouse shippers. Recent Projects Japan L’Oreal Integration: Coordinated the end to end project and created artwork for 68 Japan specific products to ensure they met new L’Oreal regulatory standards by strict deadline. - Skincare peel-back labels - Aluminium Tubes - Kit cartons - Sachets Aesop China Entry and Re-registration: Successfully managed 300+ China specific packaging items from artwork brief initiation to supplier print approval for New Market Entry. Every product from the Aesop range required Chinese label variants and due to type size regulations, each product under 500mL required a carton. I coordinated and assisted with artwork creation for the full product range, including supplier print approval. In the following years, the full range required two subsequent updates. I coordinated and assisted with artwork updates for those projects from 2021-2024. EU Specific Duet Kit Redesign: The four duet kits available at Aesop required redesign to meet EU standards. I updated the artworks, coordinated the projects and assisted in validating the new EU printer, successfully bringing them to market. I recently worked with the Mecca Exclusive brand Emma Lewisham as a freelance Packaging Graphic Designer for maternity cover till Feb 2026. Part of the role was to mockup carton layouts alongside the Head of Marketing to increase on shelf brand recognition and improve how customers interact with the products. To create harmony across the product range, I moved skincare products over to new packaging dieliens, updating designs and aligning fonts to new copy and updated formulations.
