I’m Inga Bohnekamp, a part-time university professor, psychologist, and founder of Maple Minds. I’ve taught psychology and medicine to undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students and collaborated with CHEO, OCTC and other centers to support children, teens and families dealing with chronic illness and pain. I’m driven by combining mind, body, breath and movement to create coping-focused therapies and trainings that are accessible in hospitals, schools and communities. My work centers on resilience, mindfulness and hands-on coping skills. I design and run mind–body therapy programs, author books and manuals, and contribute to audio resources to help people of all ages manage stress, illness and trauma. I’m passionate about training clinicians and educators, mentoring students, and sharing practical tools through workshops, lectures and public speaking engagements.
