I bring over two decades of experience working at the intersection of art, design, and technology. My career spans digital infrastructure, immersive systems, and interactive installations — including leading the delivery and integration of digital media systems within a historic 1930s telephone exchange transformed into a contemporary technology museum. I’ve delivered complex exhibitions, XR projects, and public artworks in collaboration with leading cultural institutions across Australia, bridging heritage collections with emerging technologies. As a media artist and producer, my background blends deep technical capability with a strong conceptual practice. I move between infrastructure and theory, code and curation, systems design and storytelling — building experiences that are technically robust and culturally meaningful. I am currently undertaking a PhD in Design at RMIT University, where I am developing ARCHAI (Augmented Reanimation, Cultural Heritage, AI). This research focuses on creating an open-source toolkit for GLAM institutions that supports data sovereignty and local AI systems — enabling museums, libraries and archives to work with machine intelligence while retaining control over their collections, context, and cultural knowledge. ARCHAI explores how archives can evolve from static repositories into living, preservation-aware environments — combining semantic systems, digital preservation strategies, and ethically grounded AI to assist curatorial expertise and deepen visitor engagement. I am open to research partnerships, institutional collaboration, and dialogue around future-facing cultural infrastructure.
