I recently completed my Master of Science in Psychology at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. During my studies, I developed a strong focus on user-centered development, human-technology interaction, and the design of intuitive digital solutions. This allowed me to build a solid understanding of user experience as well as the structured identification and translation of user needs. Through various academic and practical projects, I gained experience in the conception, evaluation, and iterative improvement of interactive systems. These include projects in the field of robotics as well as the design of user-friendly interaction concepts. My work consistently focused on combining user research, structured design processes, and prototyping. In addition, through my work at Universitat Medical Center Mainz and the Central Institute of Mental Health in Mannheim, I further developed my analytical skills and gained experience in planning, conducting, and analyzing empirical studies. Furthermore, at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz I was responsible for supporting study participants throughout the entire research process— from initial contact, through the full course of the study, to follow-up conversations. Moreover, in both my bachelor’s and master’s theses, I worked with diverse participant groups, samples, and cultural backgrounds, including multilingual contexts. This experiences strengthened my ability to adapt research approaches to different cultural perspectives and linguistic settings. Working across cultures and languages has significantly enhanced my sensitivity to diversity, my communication skills, and my ability to understand and interpret user needs. As I am at the beginning of my professional career, I am highly motivated to quickly familiarise myself with new tools and processes and to take on responsibility.
