Hidehiro Kawai is a Tokyo-based composer, music producer, and bassist with 15+ years of professional experience in Japan’s entertainment industry. Inspired by his uncle, renowned composer Kenji Kawai, he committed to music at 18 and has since become known as a versatile melody maker.
He has composed music for major Japanese TV dramas, anime, and films, and also serves as the primary composer and bassist for the instrumental rock trio fox capture plan.
