Hi, I’m Joan Pere Jové Ibàñez, a Barcelona-based composer and sound designer focused on original music for animation and film. I craft scores that support storytelling, blending orchestral textures with contemporary sound design to help characters and scenes come alive.
Since 2023 I have been composing music for short films, collaborating with directors such as Katrin Vezèn and Jefri Carbó, and continually expanding my training through Domestika, Microfusa, and Taller de Músics. I enjoy exploring mood, tempo, and color in music to enhance narrative and emotion in moving image projects.
