JiYoung is a skilled Visual Development Artist specializing in environment, prop, and color design for animation. She has extensive experience working in both 2D and 3D productions, creating vibrant worlds across a variety of styles. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Animation from California State University, Northridge, JiYoung has contributed to numerous TV series, including Motel Transylvania, TrollsTopia, and Fright Krewe, collaborating with studios such as Sony Pictures Animation and DreamWorks Television. In addition to her animation work, JiYoung is an award-winning children’s book illustrator. Her debut, The Efil Brothers, received a Gold Medal at the Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY) in the Children’s Picture Books (All Ages) category. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge through teaching and lectures, helping aspiring artists build strong fundamentals for their careers.
