My name is Elisa di Francesco, screenwriter and actress. I graduated in Legal Sciences from RomaTre University before earning my degree in acting from the Centro Internazionale La Cometa in Rome. I have worked as an actress and assistant director/dramaturg with, among others, Lisa Ferlazzo Natoli and Lucia Calamaro. I studied screenwriting in Washington, D.C. with Kevin Downs (Georgetown University) and, upon returning to Italy, with Lucio Besana. I was a finalist for the 2023 Premio Solinas Experimenta Serie with a teen mystery TV series currently in pre-production. Also in pre-production is a documentary on physics, of which I am the author. In 2025, I wrote the screenplay for a short film as part of the FilmLab project by OffiCine, under the artistic coordination of Silvio Soldini. In the same year, I was a finalist in the story concept category at both the Premio Condor and the Bari Puglia International Film Festival. I am also a finalist for the ALF Women Screenwriters Award (Premio Donne Sceneggiatrici ALF), which will be presented this coming June, with a psychological horror based in Germany.
