I am Zack Van Eyck, a film and television writer, director and producer. My feature directorial debut, The Hitchhiker Effect, has been officially selected by 32 film festivals, earning 19 awards and 10 nominations, and released on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, YouTube Movies & TV and other streaming services on Oct 28, 2025. I was honored with the 2025 Robert Rodriguez Indie Auteur of the Year award at the 26th Bare Bones International Film Festival in Muskogee, Oklahoma. I wrote Jupiter Landing (2006), Daytona Dream (2010) and Three of One Kind (2013). I produced two Amazon Prime originals, Sweet Caroline (2015) and Coitus of the Week (2016), both festival favorites and recipients of Best Director and Best Writer awards among others.
